Senior Accountant (TEMP) - Ecommerce

Our rapidly growing, marketing and e-commerce, health and wellness client is seeking a Senior Accountant TEMP to begin work on several key projects in the accounting department. This may potentialy become a permanent role. The Senior Accountant will be required to collaboratively work within the accounting team and assist with the day-to-day accounting department functions, as well as assist on the annual audit. The candidate will play a significant role in the month end close process and be a key member of the new accounting system migration and implementation team. Job Description What You'll Tackle Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are GAAP compliant Support accounting operations include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, employee expense reimbursement, tax filings, and financial system implementations/improvements Perform, maintain, and help review balance sheet reconciliations for multiple subsidiaries Prepare and assist in review of monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis Ensure proper adherence of internal controls to maintain the integrity over financial reporting Work closely with the team on implementing ERP system Qualifications What's Needed To Win Bachelor's degree (accounting, business, or finance major preferred) 3+ years of accounting experience, public accounting experience - highly regarded CPA is a plus Salary commensurate with experience.
