Senior Cost Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $110,000 to $125,000 per year.
Job Description:- Perform month-end closing process and review the account reconciliations.
- Maintain, report, and reconcile inventory and cost of sales accounting records.
- Analyze and review the inventory sub-ledgers and general ledger.
- Review manufacturing overhead analysis and calculation for inventory.
- Perform month-end journal entries for inventory, COGS, fixed assets, and general accounting.
- Prepare flux analysis for inventory, accrued liabilities, cost of sales and other assigned general ledger accounts.
- Prepare various cost accounting reports for presentation to upper management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years' experience of public or private industry cost accounting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, and accounting software's (SAP and ERP) preferred.
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process from raw material to finished goods and cost of sales.
- Familiarity with (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
