Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse for night shift coverage. The ideal candidate will possess specialized experience in cardiovascular care and open heart recovery, providing expert patient support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular patients in the ICU setting.
Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, including post-operative open heart recovery.
Administer medications, manage balloon pumps, and respond to emergent situations.
Document patient progress, treatments, and interventions accurately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license with recent experience in CVICU or cardiac units.
Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
Demonstrate cardiovascular with open heart recovery experience.
Ability to work night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week.
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Availability to provide start date, RTO, DOB, Middle name, and SSN upon submission.
