Technical Program Manager

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of program management, technical program management, systems engineering, or engineering leadership experience in a complex technical environment
• Experience leading multidisciplinary product development programs involving some combination of electrical, optical, mechanical, embedded, and software systems
• Experience working with defense, aerospace, national security, or other regulated government programs
• Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and engineering development lifecycles
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional execution
• Experience leading formal technical and program reviews with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing communication
• Familiarity with requirements management, configuration management, verification/validation, and product lifecycle processes
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams while also communicating clearly to executives, customers, and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, business, or a related field
• PMP certification or equivalent program management training
• Experience with DoD programs , defense contracting, or military customers
• Experience with electro-optical systems, sensors, imaging systems, robotics, autonomous systems, communications systems, ruggedized electronics, or embedded platforms
• Familiarity with ITAR / export controls , defense compliance requirements, and secure development environments
• Experience with hardware development milestones, qualification testing, environmental testing, and manufacturing transfer
• Experience managing subcontractors, long-lead components, and supply chain constraints
• Familiarity with earned value, cost tracking, contract deliverables, and statement-of-work execution
• Active security clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain one
