CVOR Tech - 10hr Day Shift

This position requires a 10-hour day shift, with a schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off. Candidates must be available to take call after their shift and for 24-hour periods on the weekends, averaging 2 weekends per month.

The CVOR Tech will primarily support cardiac procedures, whether scrubbing or assisting in the operating room. The operating room averages 2 open heart surgeries (CABG and valve replacements) and 2 cardio thoracic surgeries (thoracotomy) per week.

While call is required, the likelihood of being called in is very minimal. However, reliability is imperative. Candidates should also be able to scrub for other surgical services when no cardiac cases are available. Experience with trauma and robotic procedures would be beneficial.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Ability to take call, including weekends
• Optional experience in trauma and robotic surgery
