Substation Electrician: High-Voltage Maintenance & On-Call

The City of Santa Clara is seeking an Electric Utility Electrician responsible for inspection and maintenance of substation equipment rated at 12,000 volts and above, including power transformers and circuit breakers. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance and emergency response to ensure reliability. Qualifications include a high school diploma, journey level electrician certification, and experience with high voltage equipment. A valid California Class C driver’s license is required.
