South Hadley, Male, 87, PT, 25 hour per week, 10:00am - 3:00pm, Mon thru Fri, Pay $17.00 - $18.50, Free & paid monthly training, Excellent Hiring & Onboarding system, Advancement Opportunities, Supportive Team. We need your assistance filling a vacancy with an existing client. He's 87 years young and has lost his regular caregiver. He is a wonderful person who needs help Mon thru Fri 10am - 3pm. Perfect hours if you have school kids. He needs companionship, Med reminders, meal prep, personal care. Mr. B's family would like him to get a little exercise keeping in mind that he walks with a walker. Requirements:

We service Southampton, Westfield, Southwick, Holyoke, West Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Springfield, Indian Orchard, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Ludlow, Feeding Hills and Montgomery. The franchise covers the entire Greater Springfield Area and most of the Lower Pioneer Valley region. Visiting Angels of West Springfield has official accreditation from the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. Basic job requirements include:

• Current US driver's license
• Car
• 1 year of caregiving experience
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong ability to read, write, and speak English, including:
• Read ADLs and personal care instructions
• Communicate verbally with clients and families
• Write shift notes to update the family, office, and other caregivers
• Punctuality and reliability
• Compassionate and caring heart
• Patience and willingness to learn new skills

*Certifications are welcome (CNA, HHA, etc.) but not required. We do offer training and mentorship programs to new caregivers.
