About the Position

Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: State or Multi-state/compact license required at start of contract Certifications: ACLS, BLS, radiation badge must be provided by the agency Must-Have: Preferred scrub experience ACLS and BLS certification Description: Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed. Start date will be in 2-3 weeks from the offer. The shift schedule is four 10-hour daytime shifts, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There are five Cath Lab rooms plus a Hybrid OR. Types of cases include Right and Left Heart Catheterization, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, and Peripheral Vascular procedures. First-timers are accepted. On-call requirements include one to two nights per week, one weekend in a six-week period, and possible holiday call. Local candidates are accepted within a 60-mile radius. All requests for time off must be included during submission. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity typically in August and September. Travelers are advised to avoid confirming any new assignments during the hurricane season.
