Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer

Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer will support the various projects located in Sunnyvale, CA. This position is focused primarily on Supply Chain Quality Engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Application of quality principles in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conduct product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

This position requires a Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one; must be a US citizen. Must have a bachelor's degree. Must have 3+ years of recent and related work experience. Familiar with Procure-to-Pay or SAP. Experience in one of the following disciplines: Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering. Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Microsoft Office applications. Must be willing to travel to client sites as needed.

DESIRED

Defect resolution through implementation of effective root cause corrective action. Quality MRB certification. Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt ASQ Certified Quality Engineer

WORK LOCATION

This position is located onsite; some travel may be required. Schedules are subject to change based on the requirements of the position and/or customer needs. Potential hybrid work assignment.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED

SALARY RANGE

$100,000/yr, salary will depend on education and experience.
