As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and support daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.37 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM; Sun 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements. Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic work environment. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
