CNA Nursing Assistant

Schedule: Part Time Days and Evening shifts, to be scheduled as needed by client (2x8s/3x8s), EOW, Holiday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/biweekly

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification required
• BLS (AHA or RQI specifically) required
• One (1) year of previous Long-Term Care experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in their care plan, ensuring their safety and comfort in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the resident environment, including prompt response to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs through meal delivery and assistance with feeding, honoring their preferences and choices.
• Address residents' rehabilitative needs according to their care plan, including assistance with mobility, positioning, and use of assistive devices.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, and concerns to the Charge or Supervising Nurse in a timely manner.
• Identify and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status promptly to the Charge Nurse.
