Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Ear Nose Throat Headand Neck Clinic

Location Avera Ear, Nose & Throat Sioux Falls Position Overview Regular RN or LPN position in a Head and Neck Cancer clinic working with Dr. Spanos and Head and Neck navigators. The role may include a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and a student loan repayment program providing up to $10,000 in extra monthly payments. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients and families, coordinating care activities for the clinic. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Assist provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing. Observe, record, and report patient condition and reactions to providers. Maintain appointment scheduling and ensure timely patient flow. Screen patients for appropriate information, take vitals, and document in patient chart. Educate patients and families about diagnostic processes, medications, nutrition, and health maintenance. Respond to patient phone calls promptly and appropriately. Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and cleanliness, prepare list of needed medical supplies. Label pathology specimens according to lab protocol, perform quality control, and maintain lab records. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active state license or Registered Nurse (RN) with appropriate credentials. Ability to work specified hours and perform essential job functions with sufficient visual acuity and communication skills.
