Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerical Coordinator to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations in Brownstown, MI. This position coordinates the flow of drivers and shipments from arrival through departure, working closely with drivers and the warehouse team to ensure accurate dock assignments, timely processing, and complete shipment documentation.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicate effectively, and can manage multiple time-sensitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Check drivers in and out upon arrival and departure and serve as the initial point of contact.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to assign dock doors and direct drivers to the appropriate locations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and communicate load or schedule updates as needed.
• Prepare, print, collect, and distribute Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documents, and other required paperwork.
• Verify shipment information, including shipper release numbers, destinations, trailer numbers, and other required details.
• Maintain accurate files and distribute copies of shipment paperwork to the warehouse floor for receiving and shipping processes.
• Enter daily data and complete time-sensitive reports accurately.
• Monitor inventory and shipment information and assist with resolving discrepancies or issues.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding shipment status and requirements.
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with general clerical and administrative duties.

Requirements:  

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service, warehouse clerical, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; AS400 experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with drivers and warehouse personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive paperwork.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable assistance.
• Must wear closed-toe shoes. 

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday | 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm  

Compensation:

• $21.00 per hour
