Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper and be the cornerstone of creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure every guest experiences comfort and cleanliness during their stay. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
- Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work with a strong understanding of sanitation standards.
- Skilled in floor care techniques such as floor cleaning, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and familiarity with cleaning agents used in industrial cleaning environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all.
- Prior experience with hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience is highly desirable.
