Receiving Clerk SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Receiving Clerk for a large, well-known client in Itasca, IL. As a Receiving Clerk for SURESTAFF, you will coordinate and perform daily receiving operations, ensuring all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with defined standards. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can work independently and contribute to departmental improvements. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 3pm-11:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Receiving Clerk: Ensure all receiving processes are completed accurately from start to finish. Provide first-level instruction, guidance, and training to receiving team members. Audit work regularly to verify compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Support production and quality standards while optimizing labor efficiency. Audit and coordinate all Media Team and Fulfillment-related tasks. Process incoming files, routing, special shipments, and related documentation. Create airway bills for inbound publications received daily. Notify production teams of missing files or shipments and assist in reconciling shortages. Provide sample weights and images for approval as required. Update daily production records and generate reports as needed. Promote continuous improvement and maintain 5S organization standards on the receiving dock. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications of the Receiving Clerk: Media processing knowledge is a plus Previous forklift experience Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems. Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments. Proficient computer skills Be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, frequently push, pull, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
