Workday Extend Developer

Immediate need for a talented Workday Extend Developer . This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Berkley Heights, NJ / Marietta, GA (Onsite) . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance Workday Extend applications to meet defined business requirements. Build, support, and troubleshoot integrations using Workday Studio, APIs, EIB, XML, and XSLT. Develop and maintain Workday Reports supporting operational and business use cases. Participate in end-to-end SDLC activities, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Work directly with end users and business teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions efficiently. Follow Workday best practices for security, performance, and maintainability. Provide production support, issue resolution, and documentation during the contract term. Key Requirements and Technology Experience Must have skills: Workday Studio, Workday Extend, XML and XSLT, SDLC. 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Workday Extend development. Strong experience with Workday Studio, Workday Reports, EIB, APIs, XML, XSLT, RaaS. Solid understanding of Workday integration architecture and enterprise systems. Experience delivering solutions in an SDLC-based or Agile environment. Proven ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams in a fast‑paced environment. Software development experience using Python, Java, or C#. Experience with Workday Orchestrate. Prior experience supporting production Workday environments. Familiarity with enterprise security and data governance standards. Focused on hands‑on delivery and execution. Ability to work independently with minimal ramp‑up. Strong communication and documentation skills required.
