Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities, using diagnostic tools to evaluate muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on pain relief, functional restoration, and performance enhancement, in alignment with each patient’s unique needs and goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities such as traction and electrical stimulation, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of treatments.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing treatment plans, providing guidance and support as necessary to optimize patient care.
• Evaluate and modify prescribed orthopedic devices like prosthetics and orthotics, ensuring proper fit and function while communicating recommendations for adjustments with physicians.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to discuss and evaluate ongoing treatment efficacy, contributing to regular case conferences and holistic patient care planning.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to enhance recovery, ensuring they understand all aspects of their care and how to manage their conditions.
• Record and document all patient interactions meticulously in clinical records, which include evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide insights into the patient's home environment to recommend modifications that may assist in rehabilitation and increase independence.
• Participate actively in continuous professional development opportunities, maintaining current knowledge of orthopedic therapies and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively develop individualized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and support to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
