Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Monitor fetal and maternal health, assist healthcare providers, and support families through childbirth and breastfeeding processes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate and monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians and healthcare team members during childbirth procedures, including C-sections and epidurals.
  
  
• 
  Educate and coach mothers on labor progress, pain management, and breastfeeding techniques.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
  
  
• 
  Support post-delivery care and provide guidance on infant care and maternal recovery.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a minimum of 1 year recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  
  
• 
  Hold an active Illinois nursing license at the time of application.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring, IV management, and assisting with obstetric procedures.
  
  
• 
  Have previous travel staffing experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Must include Illinois Nurse Agency license in submission profile.
