Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished goods. Operate and maintain various inspection equipment, including CMMs, calipers, and micrometers. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products. Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues. Adhere to established quality control procedures and safety guidelines. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Proficiency in using various precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment. ASQ certifications (e.g., CMI, CQIA). Ability to read and interpret GD&T. Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
