• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary and/or secondary-aged students
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Compassion, patience, and a collaborative approach to supporting students with diverse physical abilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing students’ mobility, motor skills, and physical needs within the educational setting
• Developing and executing individualized physical therapy interventions that align with students’ IEPs
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate therapy records according to school protocols
• Partnering with faculty to promote safe movement in classrooms, gymnasiums, and playgrounds
• Providing education and support to school staff and families about physical therapy services and home exercise activities
