A contract opportunity is available for a passionate Physical Therapist to provide onsite services within a supportive school environment, working with a small caseload in an urban setting. This full-time position requires expertise in delivering care to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID) in a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of one year school-based experience.
• Comfortable and confident working in an urban K-12 educational environment.
• Willingness to obtain Pennsylvania clearances prior to start.
• Familiarity or experience working with ASD and ID student populations.
• Prepared to work exclusively onsite with a small caseload and low incidence classrooms.
• Ability to provide required licensure documentation prior to interviewing.
• Ready to participate in a Zoom interview process.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized physical therapy services to K-12 students.
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and support staff to best support students’ mobility and access needs.
• Assess students’ abilities, set measurable goals, and track progress through regular documentation.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing relevant plans and modifications.
• Engage actively with families and caregivers, providing strategies for student support.
• Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.

This role is full-time (35 hours weekly), with a projected assignment ending June 10, 2027, offering stability through the school year for one dedicated professional. Work onsite only with the support of a multidisciplinary team, making a positive difference in the lives of children every day.
