Special Education BIC Teacher - Pool (Monarch Academy) (K-4th,5th-8th & 9th-12th Grades)

Special Education Teacher, Moderate/Severe

Under the direction of the Special Education Director and school principal, the Special Education Teacher, Moderate/Severe will provide instruction, assessment, and program planning for special education students with a primary disability of autism, mild to moderate to, and emotional disturbance; monitor and evaluate student progress and behavior; research, obtain, and provide instructional materials for special education services; serve as an informational resource for students, parents, District personnel, and community organizations; work within a pull out Learning Center environment or within a self-contained classroom. These teaching positions may serve grades in our K-4th 5th - 8th and/or grades 9th-12th grade BIC program for Monarch Academy, which is located in Mariposa, CA. The K-4th grades is located at the Woodland Elementary School. The 5th and 8th grade BIC classroom is close to the Mariposa County High and Mariposa Elementary Schools. The 9th -12th Grade BIC Program is located on the Mariposa County High School Campus. This position is part of the Certificated Teacher Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience and education on the Certificated Teacher Unit Employee Salary schedule. PLEASE NOTE THE 2026-27 SALARY SCHEDULE IS PENDING - SALARY IS CURRENTLY BASED ON THE 2025-26 SALARY SCHEDULE. A full job description is attached.
