Workshop Mechanic - Specialty Rental - Deer Park, TX

Overview As a Workshop Mechanic , you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the shop. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental North America's growth strategy as a leader in the Oil Free air rental business in North America. Responsibilities Maintain the fleet in the shop Change oil/oil filters/air filters on equipment coming back in from rent Wash equipment returning from rent troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment repair down equipment in the shop perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory develop and optimize efficient processes and routines improve measurable success to business targets document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software Qualifications You have 2 - 3 years experience as an industrial related service field mechanic You should have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training You should have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics You will be expected to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling You should have good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus You should have high energy levels Benefits We beleive and foster a learning culture where global mobility is an important enabler for growth Our learning culture supports you on your journey: benefit from our individual learning opportunities (LinedInLearning e.g.), our feedback culture, the internal job portal, global project assignments We offer an excellent compensation package, including a flexible benefits plan and generous 401(k) retirement plan We offer health, dental and vision insurance We offer competitive Paid Time Off, and Life & Disability insurance Job location Your job location for this role will be at our facility in Deer Park, TX, United States (US).
