HRIS Assistant - Workday

We are seeking a bilingual HR Assistant to assist with benefits administration, onboarding, employee data management, HRIS processes, employee support, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with HR systems, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support benefits administration , including employee enrollments, qualifying life events, Open Enrollment, and benefits-related changes. Maintain accurate employee information and benefits records within HR systems. Coordinate new hire onboarding and pre-employment activities , including documentation, orientation, system access, and onboarding completion. Process and maintain employee changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and terminations. Support HRIS data management, data validation, audits, and system-related activities. Assist with the upcoming Workday implementation, including testing, data validation, and employee data accuracy. Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, procedures, and programs. Maintain confidential employee and personnel records. Assist with I-9 documentation, employment verifications, personnel file audits, and other compliance activities. Support performance management, employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives. Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, managers, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely HR processes. Provide general administrative support for HR projects and special initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant Human Resources experience required. Bilingual English/Spanish required, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Previous experience supporting benefits administration, onboarding, employee records, HR operations, or related HR functions. Strong computer and systems skills with the ability to learn new platforms quickly. Experience using an HRIS or employee management system is required. Workday experience is a plus but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate employee data. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information professionally. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
