Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Montlake, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide compassionate care for childbearing women and newborns in a high-risk perinatal environment. This position will involve working in a state-of-the-art facility with a Level 4 NICU and a significant volume of complex high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Provide immediate care for newborns, including those with high-risk conditions.
• Circulate in delivery and operating rooms for C-sections and other procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage complex labor situations.
• Educate patients and families on prenatal and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and relevant additional certifications such as AWHONN Intermediate and EFM Certification preferred.
• Experience with charting in EPIC required.
