Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

Schedule: Every other weekend required. Commitment to working 3 of 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day).

Assignment Details: Orientation: 36 hours.

Requirements: Minimum 3 years RN experience. Required: 2 years in high-acuity / high-pace environment. Preferred: 5+ years high-risk OB experience. BLS and NRP certifications required. Electronic charting experience in EPIC.

Roles & Responsibilities: Manage high-risk labor and delivery cases, performing rapid assessments. Circulate for C-section procedures. Function as Baby Nurse during delivery and provide continued newborn care until transfer. Utilize electronic fetal monitoring to recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.

Compliance / Notes: Compact license must be in hand at submission. Proof of required certifications and supervisory references required for submission. Background checks and compliance requirements applicable.
