Job Overview Law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Senior Attorney for its Chicago, IL office. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, with a focus on representing business debtors, creditors, landlords, and supply chain parties. Duties Represent business debtors, creditors, landlords, and supply chain parties in bankruptcy matters. Engage in corporate workouts and restructurings. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents. Participate in business development activities. Requirements 5-7 years of bankruptcy-specific experience. Familiarity with the bankruptcy code and uniform commercial code. Experience with commercial transactions. Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills. Detail-oriented and organized with a solid work ethic. Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission without examination. Education Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills Strong academic credentials. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Benefits Health insurance with optional HSA/FSA.
