SAP FSM Solution Architect

Role Overview The SAP FSM Solutions Architect plays a key role in shaping and delivering digital solutions for our clients on everything related to cloud for customer. The role works closely with clients to understand the purpose of the project, the business benefits to be gained, and the functionality required to ensure project success. The architect leads discussions and decisions within a SAP Field Service solution, develops the overall technical architecture, and directs the technical team. The role is involved from discovery to go‑live, facilitating collaboration between business and technology to ensure a clear understanding of the solution. This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. and involves up to 100% travel. Duties and Responsibilities Lead or design solutions for implementing SAP FSM (Field Service Management, formerly Coresystems) Demonstrate team leadership and possess configuration capabilities in web and mobile applications for SAP Field Service Management Product Hold prior working experience with Customer Service & Field Service Processes Have robust consulting skills, familiarity with SAP’s ERP Products (SAP S/4 & SAP ECC) and extensive presentation capabilities as this is a client‑facing role Have hands‑on experience with SAP Field Service Management module and be proficient in SAP FSM solution (web and mobile applications) with hands‑on configuration experience in the Field Service Management console and lead the customer on FSM business processes across all roles Configure sub‑modules within FSM: Resource planner, Technician Skills Management module, Time and Material Journal approval functionality, Smartform settings, Crowd Service, and Customer Self‑Service functionality Be knowledgeable with FSM Analytics/Reports dashboards and FSM Master Data Objects Understand the client’s business needs and translate functional requirements into application architecture and technical design documents Diagnose and provide solutions to technical challenges Provide inputs and direction to senior developers on the team for design and implementation Work closely with clients to develop and deliver winning SAP FSM strategies Design, build, test and deploy complex SAP FSM solutions Develop and lead training to clients on SAP FSM platform functionality Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the organization on SAP FSM platform questions and troubleshooting efforts Assist the SAP FSM team with defining best practices for solutions and providing feedback on proposed solutions Improve NTT DATA Business Solution’s offerings, processes, methodologies, and support business development efforts Position Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experience in business process knowledge within one or more of the following industry sectors: Distribution, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, CPG 7+ years of SAP implementation and/or support experience At least 2 years’ experience in hands‑on full lifecycle, production‑scale SAP FSM implementations including 1 year as an architect Superior problem‑solving, creative thinking, and critical thinking skills Demonstrate practical experience in agile development and creative projects to produce unique customer experiences At least 3 years’ experience in complex systems projects Articulate communicator with all levels of client staff and across various stakeholder groups Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision Team player with good oral and written communication skills Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and elevate risks throughout the project lifecycle Platform / Technical Skills SAP Field Service Management (CoreSystems) SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI) REST/API services Well aware of S/4HANA & SAP ECC both on‑premise and cloud integrations Experience with SAP S/4 & SAP ECC a plus Experience with SAP Order to Cash (OTC), SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Procure to Pay (PTP), and SAP Service to Cash (STC) a plus Benefits Competitive salaries, comprehensive health and dental benefits, flexible paid time off, 10 paid holidays, 401(k) plan, and remote work opportunities are offered. The annual base compensation range for this role is $160,377–$229,337.
