Informatica ETL DeveloperThis role is for a mid-level candidate, not a senior candidate. Any candidates that are sent above the rate of $$$0/hr will be rejected right away. Candidates must be able to convert with no current or future sponsorship requirements.Location: Horsham, PA (occasional on-site; once a week or bi-weekly). Will consider 100% remote candidates in EST or CST however they will interview any local candidates prior to remote only candidates. Will only consider remote options if they don't find what they need locally.Apex Systems is looking for an experienced Informatica ETL Developer to join an existing team’s Data Warehouse team. Experience with Informatica PowerCenter along with some experience with Informatica Intelligence Cloud (IICS) is desired along with a strong passion for writing complex queries in an Oracle Datawarehouse environment.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesData profiling and analysis, test data governanceConduct ETL / DW, Test Repository Gold Copy optimization, troubleshooting, debugging, Maintenance of Data Masking mapping & workflows.Develops complex data extracts, applications and ad-hoc queries using DB/ & ETL Tools: Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Cloud.Work with the project team (both technical and business) to establish data requirements from all upstream data sources, ensures requirements are accurate and clearly understood by those participating in the projectDesigns, develops, and implements solutions that exemplify modern data & software engineering practicesReuses and/or develops for reuse complex components or capabilities to solve complex problems and needs, enhances system design/architecture to simplify and improve resiliency in system interactions and dependenciesAnticipate emerging customer needs and develops cost friendly innovative solutions to meet them - Incorporates business objectives when evaluating processes to remove redundancies and waste, considers the customer experience, business impact and solution objective when managing risks and development and design of solution, Work on Proof of Concepts for Big Data and Data ScienceMaintains current perspective on technology trends, applying that to personal and team capability growth. Implement strategies directed at acquiring data and promoting the development of new insights across the businessSorts through large amounts of data to assess for relevancy, seeks out multiple sources to gather informationIdentifies cause and effect relationships between known and unknown variablesDevelop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualizationSupport practices, policies and operating procedures and ensures alignment to departmental objectives and strategyIdentifies applicable security/data standards when reviewing requirements and recommends controls to ensure compliance, Pro-actively monitors adherence of assigned systems to recommended security settingsHelp define acceptance test objectives, test cases, and assist in system and integration testingBuild solid relationship with IT operational leaders to ensure connectivity to the businessDefine best practices and standards for analyzing and processing data. Contribute to technical documentation of specifications and processesCollaborate with teammates, stakeholders, and other teams to identify and address systems problems, provide input on current and new designs and resolve issuesImplements and continuously improves agile software delivery, code management, and operations practices.Experience/Skills Requirements Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.3+ years of ETL Development experience with Informatica PowerCenter3+ years of experience working with relational databases (ORACLE, DB2), Writing Complex SQL Queries3+ years of experience with data warehouses/marts, relational database architecture, design, and development1+ years of Python experience (used for test data management automation)2+ years of Unix scripting experience1+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligence Cloud (IICS)Experience working in projects with agile/scrum methodologiesResearch, writing, and communication skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced Agile environment managing multiple prioritiesNice to Have SkillsHealthcare Industry experienceDeveloping & implementing scalable cloud solutions to match the business’s changing needsExperience with Business intelligence Tools e.g.
