Travel Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery in Tucson, AZ

Position Overview Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Based in Chandler, AZ, this role is part of the Pulse Healthcare Services program for short‑term travel assignments. The RN will support labor and delivery units, primarily on night shifts, ensuring safe and high‑quality patient care. Responsibilities Guide patients through the labor and childbirth process, prioritizing safety for both mother and baby. Provide bedside nursing care during deliveries and manage post‑delivery complications. Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other nursing staff to develop and implement care plans. Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and provide timely interventions as needed. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely fashion. Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and post‑partum care. Qualifications Valid RN license in the state of employment. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery. Strong clinical skills in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and emergency interventions. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Work Details Shift: 3 × 12‑hour nights. Start date: 27 July 2026. Duration: 13 weeks.
