What You Get To Do Quality Control Specialist - Anodize Shift B 6P-6A Join our Anodize team as a Quality Control Specialist responsible for the safe handling and processing of aluminum extrusions for anodization. This role is crucial for ensuring our products meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently for further processing. What you get to do: Monitor daily processes and material while conducting audits of specified quality checks Assist with addressing reported internal quality issues Gather, enter, and analyze process data to create reports to facilitate improvement Analyze and assist with problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions; participate in implementation of corrective actions with process owners Assist in the decision process to accept, rework, or reject any nonconforming material Facilitate and coordinate tracking and follow-up on any rejected order, discrepancy, MDR, or complaint Identify training needs and assist with the employee quality training process as appropriate Perform and coordinate outside calibration of tool and equipment Coordinate paint and anodize sample inventory and distribution Perform any additional tasks as identified to support the Quality/Continuous Improvement Team Physical Requirements: Able to distinguish between finish colors Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs Must be able to work independently and capable of working on the factory floor for up to 10 hours What We Are Looking For Communicates effectively with customers, team members, leadership, and production personnel at all levels Work independently with minimal supervision and perform quality work Must be a self‑motivated individual that wants to learn the business and who will be dedicated to producing a quality product Capable of working under pressure, especially while addressing customer complaints Basic process knowledge of manufacturing operations in relation to metal processing and/or fabrication a plus Ability to use standard hand measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, square, and protractor) with ability to learn other process specific measurement instruments required Ability to read die drawings and/or engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications Ability to follow instructions and work with a diverse group of individuals in a team environment Ability to work flexible hours that align with department work schedules as needed Regular and predictable attendance What OBE Offers You Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employee Work‑life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose Compensation that rewards your hard work – A pay‑for‑performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses Training – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed OBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay. #J-18808-Ljbffr Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope
