Construction Assistant Project Manager

This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced Construction Assistant Project Manager to support project management and construction coordination for a US-based construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating submittals, reviewing construction documents, managing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. You will work independently with minimal training, coordinating closely with project teams and subcontractors to keep projects on track. While your duties will depend on the specific needs of your client, they will include, but not be limited to:

• Review and manage submittals and shop drawings
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors via calls and emails
• Assist in general project management tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines
• Maintain organized documentation and project records in Procore

Requirements:

• Prior experience in an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar construction role
• Solid background in the construction industry
• Familiarity with construction documents, submittals, shop drawings, and industry processes
• Required: Proficiency with Procore
• Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding or training
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English

Technical Requirements:

• Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows | M2 for Macs
• RAM: 16 GB minimum
• Internet: Stable connection of 25-50 Mbps minimum

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
