Job Details Job Location: 9795 County Rd - Clarence Center, NY 14032 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $33.00 - $40.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Local; Travel to Jobsite Job Category: Management Foreman is responsible for ensuring a safe work and productive work environment on the commercial flatwork projects. On a day-to-day basis, their duties may include communicating with superintendents, monitoring worksite conditions, training, reviewing specifications to understand project requirements and ensure deadlines are met in coordination with Chief Superintendents and Director of Field Operations. This position will work under the direction of the Superintendents. Team Development Provide support and instruction to concrete flatwork team members to ensure productivity and efficiency Work with and coach to best practices to elevate team standards and performance. Track progress for accountability and demonstrate growth. Management/Supervision Communication with the flatwork superintendents to confirm that the needed concrete supplies and equipment are at the job site. Ensure safe site set-up for each job. Manages the sites personnel and daily activities Regular contact with job site Superintendents to ensure project time schedule and workforce needs are being met. Document regular coaching sessions on the progress made training and mentoring of all team members. Assist when needed in the areas of formwork, fine grading, compacting base materials, and concrete pours and finishing. Safety/Quality/Compliance Maintains a safe and clean working environment by identifying workplace hazards and taking corrective action when necessary. Ensures timely and accurate documentation for reporting safety issues, equipment damage and workplace injuries Ensures all work follows specified quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements 5 or more years of commercial concrete flatwork experience Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, drawing, and contracts Well versed in safety guidelines and OSHA requirements 1 or more years experience supervising and leading flatwork crews #J-18808-Ljbffr Brawdy Construction Company
