Job Details: Schedule: Rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, typically lasting 12 hours each shift. Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location, and 2 years of working as a traveler. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals, interpreting strips every 4 hours, TR Band experience, performing cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. Additional Information: The nurse must be willing to float between 8 different units within the hospital, including med/surg telemetry, emergency department, and mental health units. The position involves assessing cardiac rhythms, caring for a diverse patient population, and working with electronic medical records (EPIC). The clinician-to-patient ratio varies from 5:1 during days and evenings to 6:1 during nights. The hospital has a bed count of 371, with unit census ranging from 8 to 41 beds.
