Position Overview

St. Camillus is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that the nutritional needs of our residents are met in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and best practices in geriatric nutrition. You will play a key role in promoting resident health, safety, and quality of life through individualized dietary care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutritional status and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and document dietary progress, including meal and fluid intake
• Ensure compliance with physician orders and therapeutic diet requirements
• Collaborate with nursing staff, CNAs, and food service team for accurate documentation
• Modify menus and diets to meet individualized needs and preferences
• Interview residents regularly regarding food preferences and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate nutritional documentation in medical records
• Participate in Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance activities
• Assist with development and revision of dietary policies, procedures, and diet manuals
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families on therapeutic diets
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to all safety and organizational policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited program
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Minimum 2 years of therapeutic dietetics experience , preferably in geriatric or long-term care
• Strong knowledge of diet therapy, menu planning, and food service operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to resident-centered care and regulatory compliance
