Job Details Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry / Acute Care Hospital Start Date: 09/11/2026 Duration: 20 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Location: Garfield Heights, OH 44125 Area: Greater Cleveland, Ohio Job Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience prior to travel Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation Must meet all compliance requirements and be available to discuss time off during submission Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Perform thorough patient assessments, document accurately, and communicate effectively with the care team Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and physician orders Support patient education, discharge planning, and coordination of care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong attention to detail throughout the assignment Why Consider This Cleveland-Area Travel Nursing Role?
