National Plan Level Events - Senior Financial Consulting Director and Process Owner

Senior Financial Consulting Director The Financial Consulting Director role supervises professional level Financial Consultants who answer questions for all in‑plan participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries and their legal and financial representatives on the complete spectrum of the organization’s products and services. This role supports institutions aligned to regional structures and develops strategies and services for offering financial planning advice in person, phone or virtual to help clients accomplish their immediate and long‑term financial goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Coordination & Decision‑Making: Review capacity plans and sales pipeline to make Go/No‑Go decisions on Plan Level Events based on financial impact, event size, and strategic alignment; maintain meeting cadence with cross‑functional response teams; determine resource deployment strategies and prioritization across simultaneous events; set engagement and retention goals with clear calls‑to‑action for each event; understand transition processes and key milestones; demonstrate mastery of process flows and improvements; coordinate knowledge transfer and documentation of best practices. Cross‑Team Orchestration: Maintain strong intra‑TIAA relationships with the affected nine Business Units and coordinate sub‑committee groups across teams including IRM Teams, Lead Deployment and COR teams, Enterprise Analytics, Wealth Management, TRAC, NPET, Marketing, Legal, Finance/Business Performance & Analytics, and Transitions Team. Operational Management: Gather and analyze plan‑level event data, submit intake forms, confirm participant engagement windows, monitor week‑over‑week reporting until blackout dates, manage client needs and escalations through RAID logs, provide client‑facing teams with participant options and engagement strategies, and partner with offer management on updated Record‑Keeping Agreements. Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Consult on final engagement metrics, identify behavioral patterns to inform future engagement strategies, ensure measurement against baselines and targets, drive continuous optimization of future Plan Level Events, and monitor the performance of Financial Consultants and Associate Financial Consultants on advising, recommending, educating, executing transactions, delivering webinars, and maintaining institutional sponsor relationships. Problem Resolution: Serve as single point of accountability for all issues throughout the event; ensure escalation, documentation, and resolution; maintain audit trail of decisions and outcomes.
