Class Description

The purpose of this class is to schedule and coordinate activities related to classroom assignment, conferences, meetings and other special events.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma/GED and three (3) years of full-time experience, in a customer-service environment, performing duties to include: data entry and the knowledge of scheduling. Knowledgeable of and experience with Microsoft Office, information systems preferably Banner, document imaging and scheduling applications. Or an Associate's Degree with one (1) year of full-time experience in a customer-service environment performing duties to include: data entry and scheduling. May be required to work evenings and weekends during peak periods.

Position Specific Essential Duties

Build the class schedule from initial draft to production for all campuses with main components for all campuses including online and contract classes including preparing 25 Live data and CE space needs.a. Assist with room needs and resolve space issuesb. Coordinate with other schedulers to support the building of the schedulec. Generate reports as requested for academic units and Sr. Director Enrollment Services/Registrard. Update CRN's with online coding for Brightspace programming2. Review schedule for accuracy in dates, times, minutes, section codes, lab and first day book fees, room features, modalities, class size, census dates to adhere to CCBC scheduling standards.3. Support CE schedule through 25 Live upload and to locate and secure space for classes.4. Responsible for communicating class cancellations and relocations of classes to faculty, staff, and students and post signs if needed.5.Monitor the Banner/25Live transactional data interface to ensure consistency with room placement.6. Assists the Sr. Director/Registrar and the Lead Scheduler in the collection and analysis of data required to continually revise the allocation of campus space and services.7. Assist with report needs for the campus directors, academic units and others at the institution.8. Back-up for CCBC scheduling of rooms for events for internal requests.
