Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Summary
We are actively hiring a Special Education Teacher (SPED) to support middle school students near Phoenix, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves students in grades 7th–8th through a combination of push-in and pull-out services, providing both in-class support and small-group instruction.
This is an excellent opportunity for educators with experience in inclusive classrooms, IEP implementation, and middle school special education services.

Position Details

• Start Date: July 2026 (aligned with school calendar)
• End Date: May 2027
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Setting: Middle School (7th–8th Grade)
• Location: Near Phoenix, AZ

Caseload & Programs

• Approximately 24 students on caseload
• Service model includes push-in and pull-out support
• Provide instruction in both:
• General education classrooms (inclusion support)
• Small-group settings outside the classroom

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instruction aligned with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Support students in both general education and small-group environments
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Track and report student progress toward academic and functional goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Attend and participate in IEP and MET meetings as required
• Maintain compliance with IDEA and Arizona Department of Education standards
• Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required
• Experience in middle school SPED, inclusion, or resource settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, classroom interventions, and behavior management
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $40-$50 hourly
• Compensation is negotiable based on experience, credentials, and interview performance
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
