Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.

This is an on-site role. Vacaville, CA

3:00PM Midnight - Monday through Friday

Attractive annual salary range of $70L -$75K,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

Key responsibilities include promoting a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers; following established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current; providing 100% customer satisfaction; promoting policies consistency; building a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates; helping maintain attendance and tardiness records; monitoring daily compliance with safety procedures; investigating accidents and preparing reports; providing on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels; helping coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work; overseeing 25 to 35 associates; and maintaining proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

This position is designated as safety-sensitive, meaning performance directly affects the safety of the employee and others, including the general public. Safety of our associates has always been our #1 priority.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required, 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role, and strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree strongly preferred, bi-lingual, Spanish speaking a plus, Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, Lean six sigma experience a plus, inventory experience a plus, and third party logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
