The Chabad at Union Work Study will play an active role in supporting Jewish student life on campus through event planning, hospitality, outreach, and day-to-day organizational support. This position offers hands-on experience in the inner workings of a campus-based religious and nonprofit organization, with opportunities to help create meaningful programs, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment for students. Department: Chabad/Office of Religious & Spiritual Life Location: Chabad- 225 Steward Pl Student supervisor: Laiky Rubin Work available: Days Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr Chabad at Union is seeking a friendly, responsible, and motivated student to assist with programs, events, and daily operations. This position offers hands-on experience in nonprofit and campus community engagement while helping create meaningful Jewish life on campus. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with event planning, setup, and cleanup Help with meal prep and Shabbat programming Support outreach and promotional efforts Complete organizational and administrative tasks Help maintain a warm and welcoming environment at Chabad Qualifications: Strong communication and teamwork skills Organized and dependable Positive, mature, and motivated Good time management skills Enjoys working with people and being part of campus life Location: Schenectady, NY E-Verify Participation: Union College participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
