Purpose:

Are you passionate about agriculture and eager to spread that enthusiasm throughout Dubuque County? Do you thrive in an independent, energetic work environment? Dubuque County Farm Bureau is seeking an Office Administrator who embodies these qualities and more.

Basic Function

As the Office Administrator you will work with the stakeholders including volunteers, staff, target audiences, and vendors to achieve the mission and goals of Dubuque County Farm Bureau, a membership organization of approximately 5,000 families.

Essential Functions

· Maintain membership records for the County.

· Process dues payments, enter and update membership records, generate membership reports.

· Maintain existing and develop new public relations and outreach projects and programs, including social media presence.

· Prepare documents and materials for the Board of Directors and Committee meetings.

· Prepare meeting sites, including occasional food procurement and preparation.

· Assist member registration for local and state events, including travel arrangements.

· Create and submit weekly Spokesman content, and member ads as outlined in the Spokesman manual.

· Assist in recruitment of volunteers and new members.

· Provide office, clerical and organizational support services.

· Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Additional Details:

· Part time 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling

· Based in Peosta, Iowa
