Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Compliance Risk Assessment Specialist to join its Transversal Compliance team. This pivotal role is situated within the second line of defense and is instrumental in advancing the enterprise-wide compliance risk assessment framework across various business and support functions. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting and enhancing the Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) framework, ensuring the accurate identification, assessment, and challenge of risks throughout the organization. This demanding position requires a professional with a strong background in regulatory expertise, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to uphold a robust and consistent compliance risk management approach. Key responsibilities for the Compliance Risk Assessment Specialist include the design, execution, and enhancement of the CRA framework, as well as the coordination of annual CRA processes. The role demands a high level of proficiency in analyzing compliance risk data, providing credible challenges to risk and control assessments, and developing management reporting that summarizes CRA results and trends. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a BBA or Accounting, and at least 8-10 years' of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within a banking environment. A strong knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks and a CRCM certification are preferred. The role also requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
