Precision Metal Forming Brake Operator
Where: Madison Heights, VA
When: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–2:00 AM
Pay Range: $17–$19/hour (DOE)
Type: Full-Time | Long-Term
Is this you?- Can you read a blueprint and translate it into accurate bends?
- Do you enjoy working with your hands and fine-tuning machine settings?
- Are you the person who double-checks with calipers before calling a part complete?
- Do you thrive on dependable, steady work in a safety-first shop?
- Set up and run press brake equipment to form sheet/plate to specification.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan operations.
- Use tape measures, calipers, and other gauges for in-process and final inspection.
- Tweak tooling and machine settings to hit tight tolerances.
- Load and unload materials safely to keep production flowing.
- Perform routine maintenance and keep your area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience; press brake background preferred.
- Blueprint literacy and confident use of precision measuring tools.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand throughout the shift.
- Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude; experience with metal products is a plus.
- Hourly pay of $17–$19
