About the Role  

This role is responsible for reviewing caregiver onboarding and compliance requirements, ensuring all required credentials and documentation are complete, valid, and meet company and regulatory standards before caregivers are cleared to join the agency. The Compliance Support Specialist also partners closely with Recruitment and other internal teams to follow up on outstanding requirements and help ensure a smooth and timely onboarding process.

This is a compliance support role focused on requirement verification, data accuracy, process coordination, and cross-functional communication. While experience in healthcare compliance or onboarding is preferred, this position does not involve regulatory auditing or policy development. Instead, the role centers on ensuring caregiver onboarding requirements are accurately reviewed, tracked, and completed while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards. 

Key Responsibilities  

Compliance & Onboarding  

• Review caregiver onboarding requirements to ensure all required credentials and compliance items are complete, accurate, and current. 
• Verify licenses, certifications, background checks, health clearances, and other onboarding requirements before onboarding approval. 
• Identify missing, expired, or incomplete requirements and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. 
• Maintain accurate and organized caregiver compliance records. 

Coordination & Follow-Up  

• Partner with Recruitment and other internal teams to obtain outstanding onboarding requirements. 
• Communicate requirement status and provide timely updates to stakeholders. 
• Follow up on missing items to help keep the onboarding process on schedule. 
• Escalate unresolved compliance issues when necessary. 

Data & Process Support  

• Update internal systems with compliance and onboarding statuses. 
• Track outstanding requirements and prepare status reports as needed. 
• Maintain confidentiality of caregiver information. 
• Support process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the compliance process. 
• Healthcare, home care, staffing, or service industry experience is a plus. 

Qualifications  

• 2+ years of experience in compliance support, onboarding, recruitment coordination, healthcare administration, or a similar role. 
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify missing requirements and inconsistencies. 
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience working with HR or onboarding systems. 

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, or another regulated industry. 
• Experience supporting onboarding or compliance processes. 
• Familiarity with caregiver credentialing, licensing, or onboarding requirements. 
• Experience using applicant tracking systems or compliance management platforms.
