Position: Corporate Legal Support Specialist
Leading global law firm with offices in major cities around the world. Our firm is known for providing top-notch legal services to a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and high-net-worth individuals. Our Boston office is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Legal Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
As a Corporate Legal Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing administrative and operational support to our corporate legal team in the Boston office. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, including document management, legal research, and client communication. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in corporate law to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in document preparation and management, including drafting and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and memos.
Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate law topics.
Communicate with clients and external parties to gather necessary information and documents.
Coordinate and manage document production and discovery processes.
Maintain and update client files and databases.
Manage attorney calendars and schedule meetings and appointments.
Provide general administrative support, such as answering phones, maintaining office supplies, and organizing files.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a corporate law firm.
Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
