Campus Marketing Intern

Description:

Markit is hiring Campus Leads to build and manage student marketing teams at universities across the United States.

Brands partner with Markit to reach college students, and we deliver those results through student ambassador teams on each campus. As a Campus Lead you are responsible for your campus. You recruit the ambassador team, get them running, and keep them producing across every campaign we run there. You also work campaigns yourself. This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for a campus team.

What you'll do:

• Build a team of student ambassadors at your campus
• Get new ambassadors through onboarding and follow up with those who stall partway
• Keep your team producing by reviewing your numbers each week and following up with anyone who has stopped
• Work campaigns yourself, using your own personal link and code
• Act as the point of contact between your campus team and Markit

Qualifications:

• Experience leading or recruiting peers, such as Greek life leadership, student organization officer, team captain or RA
• Previous brand ambassador, campus marketing, sales or recruiting experience
• Comfortable reaching out to students you do not know
• Reliable follow-up, which is most of the job once your team is built
• Currently enrolled undergraduate with at least two semesters remaining
• Marketing, business or communications students will find the work relevant, though it is not required
