Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education3+ years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.Experience in one or more of the following fields: supply chain, statistics, mathematics, material cost estimating, contracts, compliance, financial analysis, cost analysis, material forecasting.Working knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR and DFARSupply Chain, logistics, and supplier negotiations experience.Strong communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and be accountable for all assignmentsSelf-motivated and demonstrated sense of urgencyMust be proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Desired SkillsExperience writing and reviewing FAR compliant Price Analyses and ProposalsComprehensive understanding of supplier flow downs and proposal packagesAbility to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizationsAbility to think outside the box and bring unique solutions to the tableAbility to conduct supplier visits as necessaryPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
