Senior Manager, Revenue & Billing Operations Hybrid – 2 days onsite $115k/yr An established tech company is looking for an experienced revenue accounting professional to take ownership of its subscription billing and order-to-cash environment. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position for someone who understands how contracts, billing, systems, and revenue recognition connect across a growing software business. The company is actively modernizing its revenue operations, moving away from manual processes toward a more automated and scalable order‑to‑cash model. You'll play a key role in that transition while overseeing the day‑to‑day accuracy of billing and revenue. This is a player‑coach position. Previous people management experience is helpful but not required. Strong functional expertise in SaaS billing, NetSuite ARM, ASC 606, and order‑to‑cash is much more important. What You'll Own You’ll oversee the revenue lifecycle from executed customer agreements through billing and cash realization, with particular focus on the connection between Salesforce and NetSuite. Key responsibilities include: Own and improve the end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash and quote‑to‑cash process for a subscription‑based SaaS environment. Serve as a subject matter expert for NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and revenue/billing workflows. Understand and troubleshoot the flow of customer, contract, and order data from Salesforce into NetSuite, ensuring billing information is complete and accurate. Help transition manual billing and revenue processes toward greater automation, consistency, and scalability. Review new contracts and contract modifications for billing and ASC 606 revenue recognition implications. Identify data discrepancies, workflow breakdowns, and recurring manual adjustments and develop practical solutions. Own accounting activities related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled accounts receivable. Prepare and review revenue journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting schedules during monthly and quarterly close. Strengthen controls surrounding billing, contract management, and revenue recognition. Partner across Accounting, Finance, Sales, and Operations to improve upstream and downstream revenue processes. Support internal and external audit requests related to revenue. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5+ years of relevant revenue accounting, billing, or order‑to‑cash experience Direct experience within a SaaS/subscription‑based software company Strong hands‑on experience with NetSuite ARM Demonstrated knowledge of order‑to‑cash and/or quote‑to‑cash workflows Strong understanding of ASC 606 and subscription revenue recognition Experience working with Salesforce‑to‑NetSuite data flows strongly preferred Experience improving, implementing, or automating billing/revenue processes highly valued Advanced Excel skills CPA or CPA‑track background is a plus, but not required This opportunity is particularly well suited to a Senior Revenue Accountant, Revenue Accounting Lead, Senior Billing Analyst, or experienced Revenue Manager who wants broader functional ownership.
