York Employment is hiring for an exciting opportunity with an international company in Ontario for a Controller, as well as an FP&A Manager role. (Prefer Bilingual Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese.)

-Direct hire

-$150-180K + 10% annual bonus

-20% Travel per year

-Onsite position, 8am to 5pm, M-F

-Oversee 3 to 5 employees

The successful candidate should have an interest in leveraging AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.

Accounting

• Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Lead month/quarter/year-end close
• Manage multi-entity & inventory/cost accounting
• Ensure GAAP compliance
• Coordinate audits and external partners
• Oversee tax filings and global staff

Financial Planning & Procurement

• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze variances and key business drivers
• Support leadership with reporting and insights
• Track KPIs and improve profitability
• Oversee inventory, demand planning, and purchasing
• Supervise planning staff

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Improve and standardize business processes
• Support ERP and system enhancements
• Implement automation and AI-driven efficiencies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

**Education **

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or MBA designation strongly preferred.
